Spicy Crab Masala, Piping Hot Samosas and Tasty French Cheese Lays

Let's hear it for the food in Karachi!

Highlights include crab caught fresh from the Arabian Sea and then cooked with masala; a brunch of puris, aloo, chana, eggs and chutneys; and 12 Rupee (12 cent) meat and potato samosas.



A tasty brunch.



You can pick up these samosas on the street for cheap. The pyramid-shaped samosas have potato- and pea-filling and the triangular ones are filled with meat.



Roti dough, which is then dropped onto a flat cast iron skillet.



I drink from three to seven cups a day of chai here...
